Full-Service Packing

The person who bubble-wraps a lamp in your old house is the same person setting it down in its new spot.

Packing an entire household is the part of moving most people put off until the week runs out, and it’s also where things get broken — not usually in the truck, but in the rush of wrapping a whole kitchen in newspaper at eleven at night. Our full-pack crews handle the entire process themselves: wrapping, boxing, and labeling every room, then loading and delivering it, and unloading and unpacking it if you want that too. It’s one continuous job rather than a packing service that hands things off to a separate moving crew who never saw how anything was wrapped.

Camille Sturgis leads our packing and fragile-item team and trains every new hire on dish-pack and crating technique before they’re allowed near a client’s china cabinet. On full-pack jobs, she stays with the crew from the first box taped shut through the last one unloaded at your new address — which means the person who decided how to nest your stemware into a dish-pack box is the same person carrying that box up your new stairs, not a driver who’s never opened it.

We bring all the materials: dish-pack and wardrobe boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, mattress bags, and furniture blankets, all included in the quote Priya gives you at the walkthrough. Kitchens, china cabinets, artwork, electronics, and closets get packed room by room with clear labeling, so unloading at the other end is organized instead of a guessing game of unmarked boxes.

Full-service packing works well for households relocating on a tight timeline, for people who travel for work and can’t spend a week wrapping glassware, or for anyone who’s simply decided their time is better spent elsewhere during a move. It also pairs directly with our long-distance service — if you’re headed to Charlotte or DC, the same crew that packs your kitchen in Raleigh can be the crew that rides the truck and unpacks it at the other end.

Ask about full-pack whether you’re in a house near Wake Forest or a condo near North Hills; the crew size and timeline get scoped to your specific home during the estimate, not a generic per-room formula.

Good questions

Questions Raleigh customers actually ask

What's included in a full-service pack?

Camille's crew wraps, boxes, and labels every room including kitchens, closets, and fragile items like china and artwork, using dish-pack boxes, bubble wrap, and furniture blankets included in your quote.

How long does packing a whole house take?

A typical three-bedroom home takes a full crew one to two days to pack completely, depending on how much is in the home. Priya gives you a realistic timeline during the walkthrough estimate.

Do you pack the day before the move or the same day?

Both are options. Many households prefer packing a day or two ahead so moving day is just loading and driving, but we can also do a single continuous pack-and-load day for tighter schedules.

Will you unpack boxes at my new home too?

Yes, unpacking and box breakdown can be added to a full-pack job. Ask about it during your estimate so we schedule enough crew time on the delivery end.

Is full packing available for a long-distance move?

Yes, and it pairs naturally with our long-distance service since the same crew that packs your Raleigh home can ride the truck and unpack at your destination.

Why Raleigh trusts this crew

What sets Hands 2 Hands Moving apart

The people who answer your first call are the same people lifting the last box off the truck — same faces, same truck, no handoff in between.

Same Crew, Both Ends

Reggie’s four-man crew rides with the truck door to door — the hands wrapping your dresser are the same hands setting it down at the new place, no relief crew waiting on the other end.

Our Trucks, Our People

Nobody on the truck is a name pulled off a staffing app — every mover is hired and trained by us, and answers to the same foreman Reggie’s crew has worked under for six years.

Licensed Across North Carolina

Active North Carolina household-goods carrier registration, insurance riding on every load, and a certificate of insurance to your Raleigh property manager or HOA the same day you ask for one.

We Route Around The Beltline

The I-440 slowdown at rush hour, the one-way grid downtown, a new-construction street out past Wendell where GPS still guesses — Julian maps around all of it before your crew ever leaves the yard.

Marcus Still Answers The Phone

Call the Poole Rd office and you get Marcus, Priya, or somebody who actually works here — never an overseas script. We hold the arrival window we quote, and rebooking your date never costs you a penalty.

Packed like it’s ours to keep

What your furniture goes through between here and there

Blankets go on before the hallway does

Camille’s crew wraps and shrink-films every dresser and cushion right where it’s sitting — nothing rides down your hallway or stairwell bare.

Door frames and floors get padded first

Runners go down and corner guards go up on every door jamb before the first box moves, so neither the exit nor the entrance picks up a scuff.

Furniture comes apart and goes back together

Bed frames, dining tables, and cribs get broken down for the ride and rebuilt at the new address — you’re not the one hunting for a hex key.

Glass and electronics ride in their own box

Mirrors, artwork, and anything with a screen get their own carton and corner protection — nothing fragile gets wedged behind the couch cushions to save space.

Straps and dollies carry the weight, not your back

Heavy pieces move on ramps and dollies with real tie-down straps, so nothing gets dragged across a floor or muscled up a stairwell by hand.

The crew that wraps the first box unloads the last one

There’s no relief shift and no new face after lunch — the same crew that started your move is the one setting the last box down.

How it works

Three steps. One crew the whole way.

01

Tell us where and when

Call or fill out the form with your two ZIP codes and a rough room count — that’s enough for Priya to put a number in writing the same day, no walkthrough required and no charge just for asking.

02

Your crew gets assigned

Once you lock in a date, Reggie’s crew and their truck go on the schedule under your name — the same four guys, start to finish. Need a certificate sent to a property manager first? We handle it before move day.

03

The same faces load and unload

Your crew shows up inside the window we gave you, wraps and pads what needs it, and rides the truck to the destination themselves — nobody new shows up on the other end.

Ready to put your move on the schedule?

The crew that answers your call is the crew standing in your driveway on move day — no substitutions, no subcontractor picking up the second half. Tell us where you’re headed and we’ll have a number back before the day’s out.
